I am trying to: Remove the old genesis author box from a layout after disabling the Genesis Theme integration plugin.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: No author box

Instead, I got: The author box at the bottom of the page.]

Thanks guys!

The Author Box is displayed outside the current Layout.
You can test that by adding a simple Visual Editor cell and the text "Bottom Line".
It will appear before the Author Box, hence, that box is outside the actual Layout.

You minify your scripts so I can not really check who is styling and loading them.

Have you tried (just thinking loud) to re-install the Plugin and delete the cell, then de-activate the Plugin?

Eventually that brings a fast solution.
But as I see it in the HTML, this is not rendered by Layouts directly?

I would need to see this on a local site (Copy of your live site) to debug it further if my tip above does not work.

Hi Beda, no need to respond. I created my own author box.

You guys rock! Thanks for creating such a neat product, keep up the good work!
