According to our google reporting dashboard we get a lot of error from the views-frontend.js

I have attached a screenshot off the report.

What does this script do? We only use 1 view on the front page but its loaded with every page?

Hi Glenn,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Based on your screenshot it seems these errors are only related to Internet Explorer.

Secondly can you let me know when did these errors started to occur ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi,

This is a new website. Its live for 1 week and the reporting is also new. So it happend directly.
Most errors are indeed from IE.

What does that script? We don't use any paging. Only some views that output some related posts or news.

Hi glenn,

I took a look a the JS file that was throwing the issue on IE11. From what I can see this file is for the event listeners for views frontend actions.

I believe it's just a compatibility issue where IE 11 doesn't support the methods being used. Which is expected as IE11 is approaching its end of life cycle and will no longer be supported by modern programming conventions.

However based on the nature of the error I don't believe there will be any functional degradation in ie 11

Thanks,
Shane
