I am trying to: use rankmath on cpt with toolset types

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: would need admin access, see video

I expected to see: rankmath showing up on cpt like it does on wp-posts

Instead, I got: please see video

I checked with Rankmath, they suggest using health check. I did; I turned off all plugins and switched to twenty-twenty theme. I turned on only Toolset Views and Rankmath. Please see video, rankmath will show up on cpt, but does not work. "Please tell them that you suspect some JS error on those pages."

video, thanks, hidden link

please note, debug info will show full site turned on, not what was on during debug

Hi Steven

I watched your video but it's not clear what the problem is.

For standard Posts, you are using the Gutenberg editor, so the Rankmath UI shows up in the sidebar.

For your custom post type you are using the classic tinyMCE editor, so the Rankmath UI shows up in a metabox below the editor.

The video ends abruptly then, so I'm not sure if I was supposed to see a problem with that metabox.

If you go to Toolset > Custom Post Types and edit the settings for the post type in question, you can switch whether the post should be edited with the classic or block editor.

If you think there may be JS errors on the page please open the browser console and you'll be able to see them and you can share them here, and if there is a specific problem where something is not working, please clarify what that is.

Thank you for your attention and please excuse the confusion. I solved the issue by deleting the "classic editor" plugin.

Rankmath was not computing the SEO score on the cpt pages and I was not able to convert those pages to block editor (where you saw it functioning on the wp-posts pages). This lead me to delete the classic editor plugin (which is no longer needed with elementor), and problem solved.

Thank you
