This issue is happening on the original and the clone of a long-running site (years) that has never had this issue until now. It was recently migrated to Pressable, if that matters.

The original site is: hidden link
The clone is: hidden link

There is an email address field for the "Member" CPT. It is not saving the email when an address is entered anymore, but all other fields still save correctly. I have done some troubleshooting by creating a second email field in the original field group, and a second field group with an email field, and they are also not saving addresses entered.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is really strange.

Can you please share problem URL where I can see the issue as well as admin access details and what is your original email field and also send me frontend user access details if its required to login as frontend user.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

On the following post edit page:
- hidden link

I've added my email "testemail@gmail.com" and I can see that email is displayed on the frontend:
- hidden link

am I missing anything here? what email exactly is not wroking or get saved?

Okay... something is up. I can see what you entered, but when I try to change it, it just reverts back to what you had entered. I've even tried using an incognito browser. Perhaps something happened to the user account during the migration to Pressable? This issue is happening for multiple users.

So, I just created a new admin user account, and it cannot make a change to that field either. Then I logged in using the credentials I gave you, and it still will not save/update the email address field. All tested in an incognito browser. You were editing the correct (only) email field.

I'm not sure what's going wront at your end as I shared with my previous reply I can easily edit email and the field gets updated successfully without any issue.

If you want me to try with different user access details. Please share another user access details and I will try to edit the same email and get back to you with results.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Sorry, Minesh... and thank you for hanging in here with me, but there is absolutely something going on. I have created several admin user accounts, tested in several browsers, tested from several devices, disabled and purged any caching, made sure every plugin was up to date, and I was only able to get the email address you entered to update once. I took the "m" off of the ".com".

I've tried creating new "members," and I get the same result. I even cloned the entire site to a staging server and tested there with the same results.

I am no stranger to Toolset, as we use it on the vast majority of the sites we build and have been using it for years. I have never seen anything like this before, and it is so far isolated to only this one site. I can send you screen recordings showing it happening, but I don't know if that will help track anything down. Is there anything else you can suggest? Have you tried re-editing the same entry you added a couple of times, and does it work every time? Like I said, I got it to update once, but not since.

I'm able to update the email successfully without any issue. I've changed the email to "neweamilfortesting@gmail.com" without any issue:
=> hidden link

And it does display on frontend without any issue:
- hidden link

I do not have any idea why its not working for you. Maybe you should try to change another computer and check as I do not see any other user reproted this issue otherwise we will have tons of tickets with the same issue.
