I am trying to: have all city results show up.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: hidden link

Instead, I got: There are a few cities that do not have any results. There are data there to be displayed by it doesn't work.

Taxonomy for this city hidden link . You can see the neighborhoods on the slider.

Hi Jimmy,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I took a look at your setup and i'm not sure i'm understanding why you've done it like this.

You are using the main view to filter a taxonomy view ? The properties are taxonomies and not actual posts?

Could you please clarify for me.

Thanks,
Shane

The developer iHeart to set this up has set it up that way. The reason supposedly why it is set up this way was we could not get the categories to populate and have the option to select the city the way it is structured. Is this the correct way to do it? We had tried to initially do it where we would filter and it would populate the city categories but it did not function properly and populate properly.

Sorry I am driving so I am dictating this through my phone. if we can speed this up and you want to call me that would work too man. My number is 972-904-7444 and we can speed up this process if it makes more sense for you.

Set it up using the taxonomies but the cities would not populate. how it is set up is when a city is selected all the neighborhoods would populate just in case you weren't aware of how it was set up

I forgot to mention that we are using the themes taxonomy and not tool sets set up.

One more thing for clarity. What I did was create a template for those taxonomy to display like a page. So I have data imported and leverage the Texan army to display the content. That is how the site was structured. I just wanted an easier way to filter to display the neighborhood / taxonomy leveraging toolset filtering set up.

Hi Jimmy,

SO I found why its not working now.

The value for the city in the neighbourhood custom field is not the same as the one in city.

If you notice that the Flower Mound in the City Taxonomy has a slug of flower-mound but the custom field city in the neighbourhood taxonomy has it as Flower Mound.

This is why it is not filtering. The values must be the same.

Thanks,
Shane
