I am trying to: Expose custom fields data with REST API by following this method - https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/toolset-integration-with-the-rest-api/

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: N/A

I expected to see: The data

Instead, I got: Nothing

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I just checked with my test site and try to expose the custom fields for the gym post type for a test:
- hidden link

I can see the "toolset-meta" section which holds the Toolset custom fields.

Have you activated the setting "Expose custom fields managed by Types for posts, users, and terms through the REST API" from:
=> Toolset => Settings => Custom Content tab => REST API section

In addition to that, based on the debug information you shared with us, I found you are using outdated Toolset plugins. Please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest official release version. You can download the latest plugins from your account's Download page: https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
Or, you can use the installer:

- Yes, we have done this.

I will go a head and update the Toolset plugins and try again.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Toolset Types & Views were updated and still no result.

Is there anything else we should look?

Thanks

I see you are using redirection plugin.

In order to check there is no possible conflict with the Third-party plugins you are using or with the theme.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as with the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference?

If no, I would like to know for what post type you want to expose the fields and I will require admin access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Okay, we will troubleshoot on staging first and find which plugin is causing any conflict with Toolset.
