No Option To Select Repeating Fields in View

This support ticket is created 3 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm trying to add a view to hold repeating fields, this will be for Frequently Asked Questions with a heading and paragraph.

My field group has a repeating field for the question and answer

I've added content to the post, into the repeating fields

I'm then editing the breed content template and trying to add a view

From following the documentation, I should be able to select the repeating fields but there is no option

Any idea why its not working? can you help me set this up quickly?

Thank you for getting in touch.

I tried to see what is happening here however when I took a look it appears to me that the breed post type is not available in the list of posts in the wordpress navigator.

When I tried to access this post type using the slug it says that i'm not allowed to access the cpt. Is there any custom code on the site that might be affecting the post type ?

Not sure why its not showing up however if you create the view with the classic editor then you should be able to select the option.

Think I've got it working, but it's displaying content from another page.

With the classic editor, do you know how I can modify it to only show content from the page it's being displayed from?

Are you referring to displaying only the items of the currently related repeatable field group ?

If so then you can use the query filter option on the classic view and add the filter for Post Relationship. This should allow you to achieve your goal.
