The view of a search form is a list of posts. When the search find no results, the view also shows a list of posts instead empty.
How can I only print posts when the search has matches?
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
That is strange.
Can you please share problem URL where I can search and using what field I should perform the search and it's not displaying the empty result message when search found no result.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I'm not sure why you are having issue as if view will not find any result it will display the said text automatically there is no configuration required.
The view that was created for the search always shows a list of random posts from the start and when it doesn't find results it also shows a list of random posts. I have it set so that the results, when there are any, are shown in random order. I wanted that message to appear both at the start and if no results are found, but I can't. The message you indicate is configured in the View already.
