New type of custom field: Rating type

This support ticket is created 6 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

besides current CF types

it would be useful to have a new type:
Rating type,
like star rating.
For another plugin it is solved:

I can file such a request however it will not have a lot of traction, as Toolset is not intended to be such a tool.

However, you can easily add a rating to your content and even display that and query it with Toolset.
I personally use the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-postratings/
It adds a customizable rating interface that you can later use to display as well since it simply stores metadata.
