New site key not working

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I updated the domain for my site and generated a new Toolset site key. However, the new key is rejected, even after trying both the Commercial tab and the wp-config.php method. An error message states that the constant OTGS_INSTALLER_SITE_KEY_TOOLSET is invalid.

Solution:

- Log in to your Toolset account and visit: https://toolset.com/account/sites

- Remove any existing entries for the previous and new domain by clicking the trash icon next to them.

- Generate a new site key by following these steps:

- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab)".

- Click the "Unregister" link to unregister Toolset.

- Click "Register Toolset" on the right side of the screen.

- Click "Get a key for this site" to generate a new key.

- Copy the generated key and paste it into the "Site Key" input box.

- Click "OK" to register Toolset with the new domain.

I have removed the previous domain and site key that was being used for hidden link as the domain has changed. I added a new domain and generated a new key for hidden link. When I follow your support article for updating the key on the new domain, it is rejected. I have tried using the plugin commercial tab for registering Toolset and via the wp-config.php method. The following message is displayed when using the WP config method: You are using an invalid site key defined as the constant OTGS_INSTALLER_SITE_KEY_TOOLSET (most likely in wp-config.php). Please remove it or use the correct value in order to be able to register correctly.

Please advise.

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support.

Please go to https://toolset.com/account/sites

Delete the rows you see on the table by clicking the trash icon next to the items.

After that, please follow the steps below to generate a new key:

- Make sure that you are logged in toolset.com.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab)".
- Click the Unregister link to unregister Toolset.
- Click the "Register Toolset" at the right section of the screen.
- Click the "Get a key for this site" link.
- A new page will open up and the auto-generated key will show in pop-up.
- Copy the key and paste it into the "Site Key" input box annotated in the screenshot below.
- Click the "OK" button.
