Hi, I created the New Custom Fields group and Assigned it to the Post type but the Custom Fields group is not coming on the Post type. But when I assign existing Custom fields group to post type it's coming. When I am creating new custom fields Group is not assigning. please help me on this.
There were times in the past that this issue was caused by memcache or object cache, are you using any cache plugin or software? Are you able to temporarily flush them or disable them to see if you're able to select the field groups now?
Also, can you please perform the following checks?
- If this post type uses the Block Editor, click the "More tools and options" link in the top right corner (it looks like 3 dots) and click "Options". Is the custom field group visible here? Is it checked?
- If this post type uses the Classic Editor, scroll to the top and click "Screen Options". Is the custom field group visible here? Is it checked?
No, i can't see the Custom field group I created. Can you please connect with teams or Any desk? So I will show what the problem we facing Because of this or developers' work delay. Please help me to make this issue to sort out. Thanks
I'm afraid that our support channels are limited to the ticketing system. As of now there's no availability for live sessions.
If you need to, you can send us a screencast demonstrating the issue using a free service such as hidden link.
I would also like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link
Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.
