Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have created a Custom post type (type = 'paper-opinion') and I need the author link to direct me to the profile page
I cannot get it to work. All the profile pages (using userwp plugin) are already built and available

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I have found similar issue but nothing seems to work: this resolved forum question for example "https://toolset.com/forums/topic/user-profile/" (My issue is that I have unfortunetly used another plugins and my site is live for 2 years now... I cannot switch anymore)... each time I try some suggestions I break the site even more!!!

Is there a similar example that we can see?
1. on the home page (hidden link) Post links "author login" are not working
2. Create new post also not working anymore : hidden link

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

Hello,

Welcome to our support forum! I'll be glad to help you 🙂

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://toolset.com/privacy-policy-and-gdpr-compliance/#data-shared-with-our-support
**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.

Hello there,

Thank you for providing the website credentials.

We have just checked the issues you brought:

1. on the home page (
hidden link) Post links "author login" are not working
2. Create new post also not working anymore : hidden link

But they do not seem really related to Toolset. For the first one, none of the author pages are working, for instance: hidden link. Most probably there is a corrupted data in your DB (users table).

And about the second issue, if we activate a default theme (twenty twenty-three), the form shows just fine. Therefore, may I kindly ask you to address this problem with your theme support?

Thanks for your understanding.
