[Resolved] Need help with toolst form, not visible on front-end
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The customer created a form with Toolset and added it to a new page using a Toolset form block. While the form appears in the Gutenberg editor, it does not appear on the front end. Only the page title is visible. Solution:
Initially, I suspected the issue was due to the Toolset Access plugin's guest permissions not being set for the form. I advised checking the form permissions under Toolset -> Access Control -> Forms and ensuring the guest option was checked.
Upon further investigation, the issue was identified as a conflict or misconfiguration with the plugin 'Restrict User Access'. Disabling this plugin allowed the form to appear correctly on the front end.
This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.
Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.
Hello. Sorry for my bad english. I've created a form with toolst withs suatus : published
Then 1 have created a new page with a title and a toolset form bloc (selected with the created form). The form appears in my editor (gutemberg) but NOT on my page in front end. I only see the title on this page and not the toolset forM.
Any idea fro what to do or change ?
I highly suspect that this is due to you having our Access plugin installed and the guest permissions for the Form isn't set.
If you do have our Access plugin installed then you can go to Toolset -> Access Control -> Forms and then check for your form. From there ensure that your form has the guest option checked under its permissions.
If it doesn't work, so that we can take a better look at this, could you please attach the Debug info?
In summary, these are the steps that you need to take in order to retrieve it:
- Access any of the Toolset administration pages
- Click to open the Help tab at the top-right of the screen.
- Click the Toolset Debug tab in the Help dialog.
- Click the debug information link.
- Copy the content of this text area and paste it here in the right field
I'm enabling the Debug Info template for your next reply.
Here are the debug infos.
FYI, impossible to acces to that via Help of any toolset administration page. The Tab link does not work (open no other tab)
I find the debug info via :
Toolset >settings> and then the link at the bottom of the page
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link
Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.
SHIT !
You cannot do that before asking !
The entire website is working with this plugin that restrict access to differents areas and give user the capability to login to their zone.
Now, I have to restore the whole website
Not happy !!!
