Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am running Project Nami with SQL Server. I would like to upgrade the plugin but the new one relies on MYSQL. How do I keep using SQL Server?
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I am following Project Nami documentation.
Is there a similar example that we can see?

Example error:
WordPress database error: [[Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near 'MODIFY'. Code - 102]
ALTER TABLE wp_toolset_post_guid_id MODIFY post_id bigint DEFAULT NULL
Hi there,
Toolset relies on the WordPress platform and all the functions and SQL command are run via WordPress.
That is why the issue with your setup is WordPress and you need to fix that. If WordPress runs ok on a platform Toolset will run ok.
Thanks.
Hi Christopher!
Thanks a lot for the quick response. So if I am following this correctly it sounds like there should be no custom SQL scripts running outside of going through WordPress. Correct?
I ask because now I am suspecting the issue to be Project Nami related which is supposed to create an adapter to allow WordPress to run against SQL Server. Do you happen to have any customers running on Project Nami? Any additional direction or tips to how we could solve the issues?
Thanks!
Hi Christopher,
One last question. How can I get access to older version of toolset types. I am wondering if there is any chance that the older code will work with Project Nami 3.2.2.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Unfortunately, we do not have any experience with that and I searched our forum and internal reports and did not see any instances of mentioned about that.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Christopher,
I found this link on the way to get an older version but I am not able to access the files: https://toolset.com/version/2-2-21/
Would you be able to help?
Thanks!
Hi Christopher,
We also found that there are some scripts in the plugin. This is version 2.2.21. Would you be able to confirm that the scripts are indeed being used? And how we can circumvent them?
Thanks.
Hi there,
You can download the older versions of Toolse by going to the page below and click the ing the download link below the version in question:
https://toolset.com/download/toolset-types/#changelog
For the second question, please consider that it is not possible to remove such a code as it is part of the core Toolset code and it will not work other way.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Christopher,
Thanks for the clarification on the code. It looks like toolset types will not work for us but I appreciate the support.
Best,
