[Resolved] My AJAX is not loading (503 error occurs)

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that with the user's WPML plugin activated they were getting an Error 503

Solution:

Since this was being caused by the activation of WPML I would recommend opening a forum ticket with the WPML team for further debugging.

Hi guys,

since a few weeks an error (503, service unavailable) is occuring on our website (hidden link)
The error is not showing up always, but when navigating to pages where AJAX has to be loaded, the error will occur somethimes. I don't know how to fix this...

In the screenshot I added, you can see the log says that the source admin-ajax.php can not be loaded. Can you guys see what the problem is?

Pages where ajax is used are:
hidden link
hidden link (bottom of the page, where the cases are listed up)

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Jef M.

Hi Dorine,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

From what I can see this is a heavily customized version of our Toolset Starter theme. It should be noted that this theme is No longer supported so if the issue is with the theme or compatibility with the theme then I wouldn't be able to assist with this.

With that said does the same issue occur when all the non-toolset plugins are disabled?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

I looked into my plugins and I see that the sliders (with ajax) are working fine if I deactivate all WPML plugins.
Do you know any recommandations to solve this? Or similar error solutions within WPML?

Thanks in advance,
Jef M.

Hi Dorine,

Unfortunately not. Our toolset forum would not be the best place to get assistance with this since its being caused by WPML.

What I recommend that you do is to contact the WPML support forum for further assistance with this one.

Thanks,
Shane
