I watched a number of excellent instrution Videos on starting on page
hidden link

These videos gave me a great deal of helpful information regarding Custom Post Types and Fields.

In Video number 6 named "How Content is Displayed in Word Press" Joe states he will show "designing templates for single posts" in the next video.

However at that point Joe disappears and page hidden link
opens and the series does not continue.
Can anyone say where the the correct video number 7 can be found. It would be very helpful

Thank you

John

Hi John,

Thank you for getting in touch.

It would appear that our documentation and tutorials on the youtube channel hasn't been updated since 2020. However we have updated our website with tutorials that should be able to help you with this.

Please have a look at our lessons page at the link below and you can go through the lesson that is relevant for you. You will find that we have tutorial videos as well in the documentation.

Thanks for the answer Shane t really helped me.
I think the correct Form for this occasion is
Front-end forms for adding content.
Is it possible for me to send an image laying out the present form detail which will not be published, as I would like your opinion on a few points.
Thanks again
John

Add Boat for sale page.JPG

In order to create a form where users can enter details of an item for sale I opened,
https://toolset.com/course-chapter/forms-for-front-end-submission-and-editing-of-real-estates/
Much to my disappointment I found this to be the same video that I have opened a number of times previously. It seems to have very little to do with property but Gym types.
I do not understand why the type of a Gym cannot simply be a category similar to the attached picture.
In the video at time about 1:45 Field Group for Gyms I cannot see how or where this was created and I cannot see the need for this. The image attached shows the select boxes which contain categories used in the present site.
Sorry if I am not seeing these toolset aspects clearly.
Thanks for any help.
John

Hi John,

I understand video's don't line up with the title of the tutorial. This will need to be addressed with the documentation team.

I do not understand why the type of a Gym cannot simply be a category similar to the attached picture.
In the video at time about 1:45 Field Group for Gyms I cannot see how or where this was created and I cannot see the need for this.

This custom field group was created by going to Toolset -> Custom Fields and then clicking add new. Secondly the field group is where you will define all your custom fields that will be attached to the custom post type.

I'm not exactly sure what you need to clarify based on your last message.

Thanks,
Shane

Re:
"This custom field group was created by going to Toolset -> Custom Fields and then clicking add new. Secondly the field group is where you will define all your custom fields that will be attached to the custom post type".
I expect there is a reason why it s a 2 stage operation to create one page but it does not seem very logical. Perhaps it is thought the maybe be more than one occasion needing the custom fields but in my case it is not so.
Thanks so much for your help and clarifiations.
Regards
John
