[Resolved] Missing language flag after form input

This support ticket is created 8 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: I have an own translatable archive-member.php. I also have a layout for this archive ('member-archive'), with only one visual editor cell (short intro). This layout is translated and completed.
The archive-member.php starts with :
get_header('layouts');
the_ddlayout( 'member-archive' );
When I visit this archive page, both languages are provided and I can switch between the languages.
This archive page also has some search options. Once I press the submit button the inactive language flag is gone.

I need to check on your install whats going wrong there.

1)
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as with the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

2)
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Hello Mathias,

I did some diagnosis steps and tests and couldn't figure out the issue.

I'm also not allowed to apply any changes on the website files.

I'm able to acess the FTP but couldn't apply any changes, Could you please grant the FTP user the full access (Read, write, delete) over the project files ?

I will need to check your theme files and also I may need to get a snapshot of your website.

Thank you for providing the access !!

I've activated duplicator and made it work for you , you can use it now . (I assume you had troubles before)

I've downloaded a snapshot of your website locally and did some tests.

I've got an error and by tracing it, I found that there is a problem with the taxonomies.

I deleted the taxonomies and recreated them again to make the members page work properly.

Please let me know if this works with you.
