I have a content template that displays a post edit form for a cpt. The site menu does not display on the page. I've tried to get it to display by setting the header & navigation 'Header Style' to 'Left' but it's I can't get it to display. Any help you can provide would be greatly apprecaited.

If I'm not worong do you mean that you created a content template and added the post edit form to it and now you want to add that content template to your navigation menu? if yes:
- You must attach the content template to page/post and then add the navigation to the page or post.
Please clarify if I'm wrong and share admin access details and problem URL with what exactly you would like to achieve. Few screenshots would be helpful in case if you share to understand your issue.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I see you are using Divi child theme and Toolset has limited integration with the Divi theme, having said that not all the options supported, in this case is menu.
As you can see with the following theme option customizer page - you can set the position and header:
- hidden link
Such option is not supported by Toolset, So the only possible workaround would be - I've created the following content template:
=> hidden link
Where:
- I've added two column blow where first column will display the menu you want using the navigation block and second column will display the edit form as you can see with the above content template and form is also wrapped with the conditoinal block so the edit form will only display when you click on the Edit post link.
Then, within the view, where you're displaying the edit post link as given under within the view's template:
=> hidden link
You can add wantever other content you want to dispaly for single Specs post to the above content template as edit form will only display when you click on the edit link as its already been wrapped with conditional block.
