[Resolved] Media attaching to post that contains the form rather than the form post type

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: When I insert an image into the body of a CRED post form, the image is inserted as expected but in the Media Library it shows as being attached to the page where the form is inserted. The image should be attached to the post being created by CRED.

Solution: The latest version of CRED, 1.9.1, includes a fix for this issue.

Hi there,

I have a post type called "educator." In the view that displays this post type, there is a form that allows users to create a post of another cpt, "observation." When images are uploaded to the observation post body using the add media button on the wyswyg editor of this form, the image seems to get attached to the educator post rather than the observation post.

Would you please let me know if this is a bug?

Thanks - Mark

Hi, let me check with our developers to find out how this is expected to work. When I follow the same steps, the image is inserted into the new post's WYSIWYG area as expected. Then if I open the Media Library, it shows as being "Uploaded To: Educator Post Title." It seems to me that the image should show in the Media Library as "Uploaded To: Observation Post Title", but I am not entirely certain. Please stand by and I will update you with the information I receive.
