[Resolved] Mass delete unused tags

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to delete the unused taxonomy terms.

Solution:

Unfortunately the only way this would be possible is to do it manually but you can try using the plugin below.

Or you can do it through the database by following the instructions below.

This plugin is perfect:

But don't delete empty taxonomies created with Toolset.

Do you have some suggestions on how to mass-clean empty taxonomies?

Hi Elan,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I see that plugin only targets the default wordpress terms.

However you can take a look at the link below for another solution but you will need to backup your database before trying.
