[Resolved] Margins are not working on Mobile

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user's website is not being responsive even though bootsrap is being used and the correct classes are being used.

Solution:

In this user's case it was a conflict with the Jet Pop-up plugin which was interfering with the bootstrap css. Disabling the plugin resolved the issue.

Hi,

It seems currently toolset is fixed on desktop screen margins and is no longer optimized on mobile, causing toolset views to not work.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

First of all - After checking to debug information you shared with us, I found that you are using really old outdated Toolset plugins. We always recommend running your site with latest stable release plugin version.

Can you please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest version.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
If your Toolset plugins are registered please try to follow the following step to update the Toolset plugins:
=> https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-update-requires-registration

In addition to this, is your theme is a bootstrap theme or did you activated the bootstrap from:
=> Toolset => Settings => General tab => Bootstrap loading => Toolset should load the bootstrap 3.0

Hi,

I have tried to update but im getting this message. I'm currently trying to update on my staging site on hidden link so it won't affect the live site. Would that be causing the issue?

In addition to this, is your theme is a bootstrap theme or did you activated the bootstrap from:
=> Toolset => Settings => General tab => Bootstrap loading => Toolset should load the bootstrap 3.0

This setting is currently ticked.

Ok if Bootstrap settings is already ticked then have you build the output of the view using bootstrap?
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/view-layouts-101/#bootstrap
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/digging-into-view-outputs/

If you are not able to update the plugins, you should try to update manually:
I would advise you to please try to update the Toolset plugins manually from the plugins page:
- Deactivate and Delete all Toolset plugins from the plugins page
- Download the latest Toolset Types plugins you require from your accounts page:
=> https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
- Upload and activate first Types plugin and then you are free to install and activate all other Toolset plugins.

Hi Julian,

Minesh had asked me for some assistance on this ticket.

Based on my inspections it seems the bootstrap css is not being applied at all even though you have it enabled.

It seems to be getting overwritten.

Could you temporarily disable the non-toolset plugins and try checking the view again?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

I have found out the plugin that is causing the issue which is Jet Pop-up. I'm making workarounds so that this issue won't be caused.

Hi Julian,

Great so with this plugin disabled the items in the bootstrap grids are reflowing as they should correct?

If so then you can just mark this one as resolved.

Thanks,
Shane
