[Resolved] Maps update throws up fatal php error

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
I am trying to update Maps plugin, I got following error:

Fatal error: Class 'WPV_WPML_Shortcodes_Translation' not found in /var/www/vhosts/banjo-ism.com/httpdocs/dev/faltern/wp-content/plugins/toolset-maps/includes/wpv-maps-wpml-shortcodes-translation.php on line 8

Solution:
I can see that MySQL 5.5.56 version in your site, is lower than the required for Toolset. Please upgrade MySQL version (you may contact your hosting support) and see if this resolves the issue: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/

Hi Clement,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support.

1. You are using older version of WordPress. Please update WordPress to it latest official release.

2. I can see that MySQL 5.5.56 version in your site, is lower than the required for Toolset. Please upgrade MySQL version (you may contact your hosting support) and see if this resolves the issue: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/

3. If still issue persists, please try to check it by deactivating all third-party plugins (except Toolset) and switching back to the Default Theme (e.g. Twenty Sixteen theme) to see for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

Thank you

Hi and thank you,

the issue was indeed resolved after upgrading the MariaDB installation to 10.1 (which, I believe is the equivalent to mysql 5.6).

Sorry to trouble you, thanks again for helping so swiftly.
