Maps takes way too long to load

This support ticket is created 4 years ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

One of my client websites (hidden link) has a Map you can get to from the main nav menu called, "Z-Map" hidden link. Over the last couple years it has grown in popularity and it has become excruciatingly slow I assume because of the many points on the map globally where people have submitted entries into.

What can we do to make the map load faster. By my account it takes about 20 seconds or more to load.

Thank you for getting in touch.

From what I se you are loading a lot of post data on this page for the map. In a case like this I would recommend that you use some form of caching plugin in order to improve the site speed.

One such caching plugin that you can use is the one below.
