Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have an interactive map with many filters. It works fine using Chrome but the filters don't work using Safari or a mobile phone (tried iPhone + Android). I think it may be a cache issue but I have not been able to find which one (I am using WP Rocket)

What is the link to your site?

Hi Eloise,

Thank you for getting in touch.

When you disable the caching plugin the view works ? I would go as far as to ensure that it is not a conflict between the caching plugin and another plugin you have installed.

What I would do is to disable all the non-toolset plugins and then activate the caching plugin to see if the search works with the WP Rocket activate.

From there you can enable your other plugins one by one to see which one is causing the issue. I also noticed that there are quite some Javascript errors in your sites console which is a good indication that this issue is related to a Javascript conflict.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thanks for your help. I am sorry my Javascript understanding is minimal.

The search works fine when I disable the caching plugin.

The search stops working when I disabled all the plugins except the Toolset plugins and the caching plugins.

I have noticed I cannot activate the Toolset Views plugin (I click to activate but it stays with a white background and does not appear as activated) - but this might be totally unrelated to the JavaScript errors; I have no idea sorry. I have attached a screenshot for clarity.

I have continued testing different settings for the caching plugin. Thanks to your feedback, I have focused on settings not allowing file optimization for JavaScript files. It seems the map and search tool are working now. Are you able to let me know if there are still JavaScript errors I should worry about?

Hi Eloise,

Thank you for the updates.

It would appear that the caching plugin that you are using is minifying the JS. For Toolset to work properly, can you exclude the files in our documentation below and let me know if this helps as well.

My issue is resolved now.

I could not find how to exclude files in WP Rocket so I have unticked "Minifying JavaScript".

I also noticed the Toolset Views plugin could not be activated because I already had Toolset Blocks, so it was totally unrelated.

Thank you!
