Maps filter for "France" doesn't show any results

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Before, we could filled in the map field : France, and posts matched. With the new view it doesn't work anymore ?

Can I see this View on your site? Please provide a URL.
Can you edit this View in wp-admin and take a screenshot of the Query Filter? I would like to see how this View is configured.

Okay I have more information. A distance filter calculates distance from a point, not a border. You can see a similar example using the location "New York" here: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/display-on-google-maps/displaying-markers-on-google-maps/#filtering-markers-by-distance

The distance filter calculates the radius from the center of the location "New York", not the edges of the city of New York.

So in your case, the center of France is somewhere near the city of Ahun. Only results within 50km of the center of France will be shown on the map. You can expand that radius if you'd like to show more results.

Hi,

I understand your answer, but i can say, and i am sure, before latest view plugin when, i put france or region, it was worked.

I am 100% sure 🙁 becasue i did it all the time....

Do you remember which plugins you updated recently, and which versions you were using before the most recent update? Types? Views? Maps?

I will be glad to run some more tests.
