In a view of about 400 records, I want to be able to search and present the result as a marker on a map.

Custom fields contain the parameters ID, Road number, Place, Latrin2, Gravatten plus some more.

The map with all the record markers works OK.

When using the search functions, the result is a map with coordinates 0/0. No object found.

This has worked before.

Google API is new with no restrictions.

Hi there

I looked at your screenshots, but it's not obvious what problem you are describing.

When using search filters, if there are no results the map shows lat=0;lon=0 ?

And you want it to show somewhere else when there are no markers to display?

Or is the problem something else?

Continuation:

I have an Archive page with search function and a map.

At start with all filters cleared, all posts’ markers are shown on the map, about 450.

Searches work well with different search parameters, but the map is not updated in relation to the search result.

When clearing all filters, the map does not return to the appearance from start either.

I've just been testing this on my own local site, with a Map block added to an archive with search filters, and it appears to be working fine when the search is set to update via page refresh after submitting.

But when I re-tested after changing the settings to update via ajax I found the same problem as you describe, the markers are lost.

I am escalating this to our developers.

I'll let you know when we have a solution.

In the meantime I suggest you update the search settings in the custom archive to update via page refresh rather than ajax.
