I am trying to: Give access to a Manager to edit any Member record

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: an edit link for each post

Instead, I got: only options are view, clone, new draft

Update:
I have learned a bit more about the issue.
If there is a published member created by the manager, all posts become editable. This seems like a bug. I created a temporary member so that our new person can do the editing, but now the temporary one is going to show up in archives, directory, etc. which is not acceptable. If I get rid of it (trash or draft) she can't edit the others.

Hi, there is an open issue related to this: https://toolset.com/errata/custom-user-role-not-allowed-to-edit-others-post-even-if-set-so-in-access/

What if the Manager publishes a Member post with Visibility set to "Private"? That would hide the post from archives, Views and feeds, but I'm curious to know if it will resolve the problem with editing other Members.

I had figured out that the issue was with others' posts, and for now I just set all the member posts as authored by the person who has the manager role. I hope this issue will be resolved in future but it's not a big problem now.
