[Resolved] manage user specified data

This support ticket is created 6 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

hi,

is it possible that user can add and edit data, only valid for this user.

eg a user is possible to register and add/edit data (custom type) like an overview of their own books?

i didnt find an tutorial ...

Yes, with Toolset Access you can control who can do what on the site.

Let's assume you have a Book Post Type and want each user to edit only it's own Books.
To do so in Toolset Access you would control that Post Type with Access, and set the Roles you want to edit only their own books to "edit own", but not "Edit any", for example.
