Malcare warned me that this file is detected as malware and advises to remove it;

Infected File (./wp-content/plugins/wp-views/embedded/inc/wpv-query-debug.class.php)
Malware

Aparently it is related to Toolset and showed up after updating to the latest Toolset views (which is inactive).
I am using toolset blocks now.

What is best practise to resolved this warning from Malcare?

Gr,

Peter

If the plugin is inactive and you are not using it then I suggest you delete it.

Did the scan provide any details of why it identified the file as malware?

The codebase for Toolset Blocks and Views is almost identical, and both have the same file. If the scan didn't identify the same file in Blocks as malware, it's not impossible that your Views file became infected.
