[Resolved] Make a Single Field clickable

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How can we make the output created by a Single Field Block clickable?

Solution:
You'd have to request this as a feature at https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

The Single field Block allows choosing from different defined inputs, and outputs. So for example, only the Post Link will produce a link (clickable) but not the Post Title (this can be set in the Inspector of the Block)
But it does not give you the "raw" data which you can use to craft any kind of output with.

If you need more control, you'd have to use a "Fields and Text" Block.
There, you can control with much more granularity what is output and how the data is populated.
You can then use the Editor's "link" features to make your content clickable.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

On this Template, I have pulled the same Field using Tools and Texts and using the Single Field Dynamic Text - see attached.
I noticed that with the Tools and Fields I am able to add a link on the field while using Single Field I cannot add any links. I think it would be helpful to be able to add a link to the Single Field output as well..is there a way to do that?

Is there any documentation that you are following? No

Is there a similar example that we can see? See attached

What is the link to your site? hidden link

You can only use the defined in and output and then style that with the Typography and Styling settings.

It's basically a classic editor, but advanced enough to handle shortcodes, HTML, and its block settings in one.

I personally use this block very often and wrap my blocks in a Container (as a habit) because the containers are really powerful to use, and it's a pain to add the single blocks later to a container, instead first creating a container and then inside adding Fields and Text Blocks, is simple and allows the greatest control.

Let me know if this helps!
