[Resolved] Make view to list all user info for admin use

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to make a custom search View for Users.

Solution: There is no way to create a parametric search View for Users in the current system. Instead, you can create a proxy post type and use that in a custom search instead.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have many users registered in the system, I want to make a view to listing out all the user with its basic information and I can type the keyword to search them out.

I create a View and select the content selection to Users, I can't make the custom search and no submit button for me to add into the [wpv-filter-controls]..[/wpv-filter-controls]

Is there any alternative solution?

Best regards,

Kelvin.

Hi, it's not possible to search for User profiles directly. Instead, you can use a proxy post type, like "Members". Each User will be the author of only one corresponding Member post, and all the information you want to search on should be included in the Member post. We have information about this technique available here: https://toolset.com/documentation/post-relationships/how-to-create-custom-searches-and-relationships-for-users/
