The users can creates an account and decides what "profile" they have. If the user is a brand, he is redirected to a "Create brand profile" (CPT) form, if he is a Freelance, he is redirected to a "Create Freelance profile".
Brands can post multiple projects and freelancers can apply (via a relationship form).
How can I make Freelancers see a list of the projects they have applied to?

I'll have to closer look at your structure and for the same require admin access details as well as frontend user access details for freelance user as well as brand user.
Please share the link on what page you want to display the list of projects belongs to freelancer.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

Can you please share test freelancer account where you setup test project and share problem URL or exact steps I will have to follow where I can see the or you want to display the projects submitted by freelancer? Share what projects you would like to see with that freelancer profile.
