[Resolved] Link to Google Maps Page instead of using API Key

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to know if there is an alternative to Using Google Maps.

Solution:
You have the option to use Azur maps instead of google maps so that could be an option.

Azur maps have some basic integration with our Toolset Maps plugin.

Tell us what you are trying to do? We would like to add a text link in the tab, referencing a property listing map to have users click on the link to go to maps.google.com instead of having to get a Google Map API

Is there any documentation that you are following? Currently, the map tab has this code: [tab title="Map"]
[pw_map address='[types field="address" output="raw"][/types], [types field="city" output="raw"][/types], [types field="state" output="raw"][/types], [types field="zip" output="raw"][/types]']
[/tab]

Is there a similar example that we can see? Can we just have the address link directly to a new/tab page taking the user to maps.google.com page? Client does not want to associate a credit card with Google's API Key

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hi Tracey,

Thank you for contacting our support forum. You have the option to use Azur maps instead of google maps so that could be an option.

It would require some custom code to link to the external maps .

Thanks,
Shane
