I am trying to link to a custom post type i've created. But there are not all of the Post Types. I am able to Link to the CPT called "Sehenswürdigkeiten" (see Screenshot 1) but not to the CPT called "Persönlichkeiten".
I compared the settings of both CPT's and they are exactly the same...
In the second Screenshot you can see the Settings of the Post Type "Persönlichkeiten".
What do i have to do to that i can link to this Post Type?
This is strange, I cannot replicate such a scenario either on Types.
The only I found, is if that post type has no posts, or those posts are not published - then those wont appear in that link box, which is produced by WordPress itself
That box doesn't return unpublished posts.
Are your posts published?
If so, can you try these steps:
- re-save the post type in Toolset > Post Types
- re-save the posts created in that post type
- Let me know if you use Toolset Access and if so what settings.
Can I have problem URL and access details with exact key word you want to search and what posts should show as search result?
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
