Hi,

I am using Elementor with Toolset. I have now made an archive template with Elementor, but I can not figure out how to use it.

I have a projects page where I would like to show the archive on, but it is a mystery how to do that. There is a permalink, but there are some extra words in it:
hidden link

I just would like to have the link .../projecten. Not with the elementor_library part. I can not change the permalink.

Thx for taking a look.

Regards

Sorry, this is an archive made with Toolset or with Elementor?

If it is made with Elementor, where does Toolset come into it?

Are we using the correct terminology here?

You don't add an archive to some page. WordPress automatically creates archives (lists of posts) at specific URLs. These are not "pages". When a user visits such a URL WordPress recognises that the URL is an archive and generates the corresponding list of posts (which your theme ordinarily outputs, but where you can intervene with a product like Toolset to take control of the output of the archive).

If you have a custom post type with a slug of "projecten" then the archive of projecten posts would ordinarily appear site.com/projecten/.

You can also use Elementor Pro (and other products) to control the output of the archive.

If you use Toolset to customise the archive it uses the normal URLs and doesn't add any extra parameters such as in your example.

Is this something you should be asking Elementor about?

The info on archives on the toolset site is very limited. Any info about toolset and elementor is very limited. Although solutions are very simple once you understand.

This problem was that there was a mistake in terminology. Once you double check everything and then use the slug as a link, it works fine. I found this information in a video of a third party, while this is very basic information and I did find this anywhere on the toolset site or the elementor site.

Could be that it is there, but I looked several times. So, I guess it could be clearer.
