Tell us what you are trying to do?
See attached image. I am creating a loop template for this page (hidden link) that will have two horse images (father & mother). Some of the horses will be linked through to external links, and some will have pages on the website. I would like to be able to automatically link to a custom post type for that particular parent. So for instance, the horse on the right in the below example would link through to this page: hidden link. And then below, where I have indicated with the red arrows, I would like to pull from the names in the pedigree of that same page (see table towards the bottom of the page that has all the names). Is this possible and if so, how would I set it up for the photos to link through to the proper parent's page on the site and then be able to match the names underneath? Thank you.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
Looked through the forums but wasn't sure if there was a particular subject that specifically matched what I am trying to do.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

Never mind. I have decided to use post relationships for this and figured out how to do the external link.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
