I'm unable to insert a line break in a post.

The line break symbol does not appear in the menu bar; and I cannot insert it in HTML.

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support. Would you please test and see if it is something related to Toolset or not?

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except:
. ToolsetTypes
. Toolset Blocks or Views
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

If the issue persists, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

I will need you to creat a dummy page to show the error and give me the link so I can follow up.

I have a bunch of plugins, so its going to take a while.

In the meantime I'm sending screenshots showing what the page looks like when published (no line breaks); and what it looks like in WordPress (with line breaks). In addition, the "Insert a Linebreak" option is not available in WP. I used the Enter and Shift+Enter but it doesn't show up on the published page.

Thank you, the button is not familiar for me, maybe it is a button added by a third party plugin, but I will need more info. I will wiat for your test to see the result.

Hello,

The login information was given without making it private. This technical forum is public. I set it as private.

I logged in but did not touch anything. If you check the screenshot from your website and the screenshot of a standard Layout from Toolset Layouts you will see that it is completely different. (I attached the screenshots)

This shows there are other plugins or custom code involved. So you will need to test that confclit steps I mentioned in the previous replies.
