[Resolved] limiting read access for specific post group is not working

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to restrict Guest read access on certain posts, so I created a Post Group with no read access for Guests and applied that Post Group to a Post. Guests are still able to read the Post.

Solution: Make sure Guests do not have read access in Access Controls > Post Types.

Hi Support,

I have a page's post:我的帳戶
I set it for the homepage.
hidden link

And I set a Posts Groups is "member". The "member" excluded Guest role have read permission.
And the Posts in this Post Group:我的帳戶、... (see screenshot)

And setting 「What to display for single-posts when there is no read permission」:Show 404 - page not found

But the homepage is still read by the Guest permission.

Hello, it looks like Guests had access to all Pages in Toolset > Access Control > Post Types. I removed that permission, and now the 404 template is appearing as expected for Guests instead of the Home Page. If you want to show some Pages to Guests, then you can create a post group that allows Guest access.

Thank you! I solved it.
