toolset-view-limit-content issue.jpg

The limit_content length = "300" is showing in the view on my staging site.

I created the view to put lists of posts on pages based on the UK county the post covers.

Since creating the view last year, I have not touched the code.

I am changing my site from Beaver builder to Elementor page builder.

I have uninstalled Beaverbuilder and installed Elementor on my staging site.
I installed the new Toolset block plugin, but I can't see the view I created
so I deactivate the Blocks plugin and reactivated the views plugin.

The two links below show how the view has changed

Main site: Beaver Builder
Toolset Views Version 3.2.1
hidden link

Staging site: Elementor
Tiilset Views Version Version 3.2.1
hidden link

I have also uploaded an image showing the staging site issue

I am happy to use the new blocks plugin to recreate the view if you think that will be better going forward
but I can't find any training to show me how to do it. So your help will be needed.

Many thanks for your help

Hi David,

Thank you for getting in touch.

The " limit_content" shortcode is a custom shortcode so I can't say why this is not being rendered. Was this shortcode created by a plugin ?

Secondly if the shortcode information was added to somewhere on the site please check to ensure that the code for it is still there when you switch to Elementor.

Thanks,
Shane

The short code was taken off your site as an example of how to create a specific view. But I can't find the information now as the Toolset site has changed so much.

The short code still works on the live site.

Do you know If I can create the view any other way?

Hi David,

Which would mean this shortcode is cusotm code.

However what seems to be happening is the function isn't being copied over.

Can you provide me with access to both websites as well as a link to where I can see the actual code for the custom shortcode?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane
