[Resolved] license is registered, but we are unable to install the latest package

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: install the latest package from WP-Admin. Step by step with screenshots attached.

I expected to see: Expect to be able to update to 3.0.6, but it fails. We were forced to manually update this. You can revert back one version so that you can reproduce the issue.

Instead, I got: An error "failed!"

With version 3.0 there were some bugs in the installer.

They should be now resolved.

The thing is, the broke version of the installer is in version 3.0, so we cannot update that version (since already used on your install)

It should however not be an issue in the new versions.

Can you confirm that now, with Types 3.0.6, you can as well download other Toolset Plugins successfully or update them?

Another issue, which is more likely to be the source for the issue you refer to, is a problem, that seems to have gone around this weekend (I have seen a few reports of our site toolset.com being "down" or timing out)

The package unavailable may be a effect of that.
