[Resolved] Let Users delete their media

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to allow Users to delete Media Library items using CRED.

Solution: Right now CRED does not integrate with the Media Library to allow you to delete or edit items like this. You can remove references to media items in posts, but not delete the file from the Media Library. We're working on some improvements to CRED that will implement the standard WordPress Media Library editor for file uplods, but it's not quite ready yet. Currently the only way to edit or delete Media items is to use the Media Library in wp-admin.

I have a front-end content submission CRED form that has "allow media upload" enabled. Users are successfully able to upload media. However, they can't delete or edit that media?

How do I allow them to delete their images?

Deleting references will be enough for the moment - how does the user do that?

I mean the User can delete the item from the post content or WYSIWYG field if it was placed in the content of that field. For example if an image HTML tag was inserted that includes the media item's URL as its src attribute, that image tag can be removed. This does not disassociate the Media Library item from the post in the wp-admin.
