[Resolved] Layouts Visual Editor Links in List Items

I am trying to:
Add a link with a list item on a page that uses Layouts.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
The text with a link

Instead, I got:
The list item where I tried to add the link completely disappeared. I had to cancel out of the Content Layout Editor to preserve the text.

I've uploaded 4 images to show the issue:

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Your list item is actually still being displayed. What you are seeing here is just a simple preview and not a reflection of what it will look like on the frontend.

Hi Shane,
The list is still there, but the first list item has disappeared. In the adding-link.png image, the first list item begins with the word "Transcripts"; however, after adding the link and clicking the "Apply" button, reopening the visual editor shows "GRE scores" as the first list item (see visual-editor-after-adding.png). The "Transcripts" item is nowhere to be seen. This behavior only seems to happens in list items. I could apply a link to the paragraph text above the link ("Some applications ...") and not have an issue. Thanks,

Perhaps I'm misinterpreting the issues here.

I've tried adding both another item to the list as well as adding links to the items in the list and it still works fine on my end.

Hi Shane,
I reset the page back to its setup before we edited it. Can you take a look specifically at the Accordion Panel labeled "Admission Information"? When I add a link to the first link item with the text "Transcripts of all...", it disappears. Other Visual Editor cells work fine though. Thanks,

On the test page it works fine.

I've added a link to Core coursework and it works, see screenshot.

Hi Shane,
Could you please try editing the accordion labeled "Admission Information"? It is the 3rd one down. If you add a link to the first list item in that particular accordion, you should see the whole list item disappear. It is the one that starts with "Transcripts of all previous ... ". This is the accordion that is still causing me problems. Thanks,

I see the issue now but I noticed that you are using an older version of Layouts.

Is it possible for you to update and let me know if the issue still remains?
