Instead, I got: When Layouts is activated Formidable forms do not work fully. Specifically check boxes that control options for field default values become non-functional. Javascript errors are generated in the console. Disabling the Layouts plugin fixes the problem and stops the script errors. This is not an immediate problem on this site, i'm no using Layouts so I can just disable it. But, you should be aware of the issue.
I installed a copy of the free version of Formidable to test this, and I found that there were JavaScript errors on the page even when no other plugins were active.
See the screenshot.
There I was editing the contact form that ships with the plugin. I dragged in a checkboxes field, added a new option, clicked into the option field to update the text, then tabbed out of the field so that it lost focus, which produced the error shown.
Can you give me any specific example of the exact workflow required to produce an error which only appears when Layouts is active?
