Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have content templates that I use for a custom post type 'documents'. They are not applying correctly for recently-created document posts. I want to apply them to all applicable posts.
In the backend, for recently-created document posts I now see a 'template layout' control panel instead of the familiar 'content template' control panel. When I select the option 'don't use a layout' from this 'template layout' control panel, I get a blank/empty page body. For these pages, the 'edit in toolset' frontend menu item references layouts. For the pages that work correctly, he 'edit in toolset' frontend menu item references a content template.

Thanks Shane - Yes I had to delete that post because I couldn't fix it. I can create another similar post. But I have seen this same issue from time to time where layouts get turned on and cause content template controls to disappear. And then the content template controls don't reappear even when layouts are turned off. Is there a way to really disable layouts? I don't use them on this site.
I cannot provide admin access as it's not my site - I am a contractor on this.
If you're using our Layouts plugin or rather not using it I would recommend disabling and deleting it to avoid further conflicts as our Layouts plugin is now in legacy.
This means it won't be updated as frequently as with our Blocks and Types plugin. So deleting it would be the best course of action.
