Correct Layout - do not change2.jpg
Layout Issue.png

HI there
I am new to toolset, I have taken over the webpage but it is throwing an error as per the attached.

Now, I had to rollback a day to fix the layouts of posts! This can not change, but all we want to do is add a new post?

The "Layout for Posts" layout does not include any shortcodes or cells that display post content, so your edits in the content area on this page will not appear anywhere. Hide editor area. - The error Im receiving.

What has changed? Is it a conflict? What should I do so that a post can be created? because all it does is redirect to edit the layout now which is so strange. I have also just purchased it on behalf of the client.

I have provided login details:

1) Please view the way the post layout looks first
hidden link

2) then apply changes and let me know.

Thanks in advance
Matt

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I want to have a look at this for you, however the role you gave to the user account is not an admin account. In order to view the Toolset Layouts components I will need to have admin access.

Secondly having a look at the post on the backend i'm not seeing where the post is using a Layouts template.

Can you update the user account to admin so that I can have a more detailed look for you.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Matthew,

Will you be using Layouts at all on this site?

Given that Layouts is now a legacy plugin I would recommend using blocks as you can achieve a similar output by just using blocks content templates.

Also most of our documentation is also geared towards Blocks.

Thanks.

Hi Shane

After some testing I have just disabled the plugin. I would like to request a refund on the most recent purchase as it was not necessary.

Thanks

Hi Matthew,

You can actually make the refund request from the form in the link below.
