I am trying to: edit pages using "edit with layouts"

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: the editor

Instead, I got: goes to the layout for pages rather than the content editor

Hi Dung,

I've checked on your pages layout and I would advise against using it for your pages as the layout is empty. This means there are no elements inside it to display the page content.

What you should click on to edit the page is click on "Stop using Content Layout Editor".

If this doesn't work then I would recommend deleting the Layout for pages all together.

Thanks,
Shane

Hey Shane,

Thanks. I've tried to do that but clicking on anything sends me to the layout page. It doesn't seem to be possible to change or remove the layout.

Hi Dung,

I see your layouts plugin is outdated. We have a newer version that can be downloaded from the link below.
https://toolset.com/download/toolset-layouts/

Please update to this version and try again. This should now resolve the issue that you're having as I see some javascript errors being thrown in your site's console.
Thanks,
Shane

Do you know why layouts doesn't show as needing updating in the plugins section? We are having issues trying to install the plugin after download - it doesn't want to overwrite the existing plugin.

Hi Dung,

The reason for it not showing in the installer is because our Layout plugin is now in legacy mode. What this means is that there will be no new features added to layouts and only major bug fixes will occur.

You can update the plugin using FTP. Follow the instructions in the video below.
