Hi,

the site is working fine and Layout as well. but the issue is when i installed w3 Total Cache or WP Rocket.. then i begin to have some problems saving Layouts. i get following Error "Error during the ajax request, make sure the data you send are in json Format".
by clicking on Save button in Layout it loads for over 2-3 minutes and at the end it doesn't save and show the above message. i tried already to turn off all plugins and just keep Layout and caching plugin and the issue remain.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - before I try to reproduce this issue, do I need to set any specific settings from those cache plugins settings or I just need to activate the w3 Total Cache or WP Rocket?

#1254225

All you need to do it just to activate the plugin without specific settings. please allow me to send a private message so i can help you see the issue on my site.

Well - I just tested the issue and installed and activated the plugin w3 Total Cache and then I navigate to Toolset => Layouts and edit one of the Layouts and make some changes to the layout and tried to save and I do not see any issues.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Well - when I try to login to wp-admin I see the following and I do not able to access admin section.

Access Denied - Sucuri Website Firewall

Can you please run a basic conflict test as well as I do not have WPML plugin installed on my test site:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
-- Do you see the same issue with only Toolset plugins active?

#1254339

I have already tried to do so. please send me your IP address so i can add it the the whitelist of on the firewall

Hi Nashaat,

I can now say that this isn't a conflict with the caching plugin.

Its more an issue with WPML however i'm still doing my research on this. My shift is about to close so what I will be doing is to escalate this so our 2nd tier supporters can investigate the issue.

Okay sure. Thanks for now

Hi Nashaat,

What you can try doing is to create a new layouts by copying the content from the existing one.

It seems recreating the layout fixes the issue.

Could you try this on your end and let me know if it helps.
Thanks,
Shane

#1254629

Yes i have tried this before.. The current layout was copied from another one.. it helped for the beginning, but later on the same issue.

Hi Nashaat,

After creating the copy I wasn't experiencing any saving issues at all.

What I did was to create the copy by copying the JSON file that generates the layout. This is done by clicking the code editor button beside the column width button. See Screenshot.

From here you can copy and paste the entire layout. I did this while all the non-toolset plugins were disabled, including WPML.

Once i finished making the copy I then re-enabled the plugins and i found that I was still able to save the layout normally.

Was this the method you tried? If not could you try this, I want to ensure that all the grounds are covered.

Thanks,
Shane
