I attempted to revert views to earlier version but that did not fix the problem. I have deactivated views so my client can edit her product attributes, but that broke the site search which is implemented using views... this is a live site, please help.

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website to check on this for you ?

I'm not able to replicate the problem on my test site as i'm still able to edit the product attributes even with our toolset views enabled.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Chuck,

I tried to log in but it seems that I need some security authorization code. See Screenshot.

Thanks,
Shane

I deactivated the cleantalk security plugin so you should be able to log in now.

Hi Chuck,

Thank you.

As of this moment i've been investigating another similar issue with a similar effect and both issues seems to be caused by the Smush it plugin.

Once I disabled this then the functionality is retuned.

The issue has already been reported and i'm waiting on our 2nd tier supporters to investigate the issue more thoroughly.

Thanks,
Shane

Interesting. I'll chat with wpmu dev support about this, too, and report back anything I find out.

#1537611

Wpmu Dev supplied a workaround. I tested it and it works. You may want to pass it on to others facing this issue, and also to the developers.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for sharing.

It should be noted that our team has gotten word from the Smush it that they will be fixing this in an update on their plugin.

Thanks,
Shane
