I am trying to: update to the latest WordPress Version
Instead, I got: wp-content/plugins/cred-frontend-editor/library/toolset/cred/embedded/assets/common/js/mvc.js: jQuery.browser is deprecated
Languages: English (English ) Spanish (Español )
Timezone: Europe/London (GMT+00:00)
It's a deprecation notice rather than an error. It means that at some point in the future a particular function may stop working following changes in jQuery, and relate to a plan to update the jQuery version shipped with WordPress, the first stage of which was introduced with WordPress 5.5.
We recently updated our plugins to avoid such notices: https://toolset.com/errata/jquery-deprecation-notices-with-wp-5-5/
If you are using the latest versions, you shouldn't be seeing them.
Thats weird. Plugins are updated, i even removed the directory and reuploaded the fresh version. Still getting the error, any advise?
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
We just released a set of new updates for Toolset plugins.
We always recommend running your site with the latest stable release plugin version. Could you please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest officially released version.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
You can download the latest plugin release from your accounts page:

I see you are using the cache plugin W3 Total Cache, do you still see the jquery error message?
if yes:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes? - Do you see any difference?
