It is as if the Content template only works front-end when I have design open

Tell us what you are trying to do? I'm using a content template to display a view to creating a directory. When I have the toolset design page open of the template and I save it and wait. It updates the front end and displays correctly. But as soon as I close everything and open the front end page again, it "lost" the template updates again. And I have to open the template again before it updates front display. And losses it again later.....

Is there any documentation that you are following? cannot find something similar

Is there a similar example that we can see? No

What is the link to your site? hidden link but it is a page that is accessible by logged in users only

I think so... I used the "Edit page" link to go to the template to edit and it seems to be "stuck" now. I Hope
